SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (WMTV) - The Sun Prairie Police Department issued a Silver Alert for a missing Sun Prairie man.

Bruce Scott Johnson, 76, was last seen around 5:30p.m. on Cedar Lane.

He is 5-feet-10 inches tall and 240 pounds.

Johnson has blue eyes and gray short hair. He also wears glasses and was seen wearing a dark green winter coat, dark blue sweatpants. Authorities believe he has dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Police said Johnson left his daughter’s address in Sun Prairie and said he would come back later. Just before 8p.m., he bought gas in Ashippun, Wisconsin at a BP gas station.

Officials said there is a tracker on his keys and wallet that is allowing his daughter to track his location.

Johnson was last seen is his 2013 Silver Hyundai Sonata with a license plat
