KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) - Garden County beat Southwest in the 6-man state championship game 41-22, to win their first championship in school history.
The Eagles got out to a 33-6 lead at halftime, and hung on to win in the second half.
“It’s easy to coach good players,” said Eagles coach Chad Dormann. “We just try to line them up in the right spot, and they’re the ones that are the ones going out there and being physical and making the plays, and it makes our job a lot easier.”
