PASCO, Wash. – A man has been convicted of murder for a 2021 stabbing that occurred on a school bus in Pasco.
According to police, 38-year-old Joshua Davis entered a school bus at Longfellow Elementary School and stabbed the driver, 72-year-old Richard Lenhart, in front of children on board.
Following the attack, Lenhart lost control of the bus, which jumped a curb and crashed into bushes. He was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.
On Thursday, a Franklin County jury found Davis guilty of first-degree murder for the stabbing.
Davis's next court date is scheduled for December 2.
