For Iowa couple Cynthia and Randy Ruth, the morning with their Golden Retriever, Molly, started off like any other. They took her to a local groomer for a routine appointment, expecting nothing more than a typical day. But what should have been a regular visit soon turned into a nightmare.

Instead of calmly staying through her grooming session, Molly became terrified and bolted out of the grooming salon, running into a nearby cornfield. Her sudden escape left both her groomer and family in shock.
