Shoppers are being urged to plan ahead this festive season, as the UK's fourth-largest supermarket has confirmed it will shut all 1,060 of its stores for three consecutive days over Christmas. Aldi has now published its full trading schedule for Christmas 2025, outlining when customers can stock up before the holiday break. Stores will operate their standard opening hours up to and including Tuesday 23 December, before closing earlier than usual on Christmas Eve, with every branch shutting its doors at 6pm.

The supermarket will then close completely on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, before stores reopen at 8am on Saturday 27 December. Aldi will continue trading as normal through the final days of the year, before shutting at 6pm on New Year's Eve and remaining closed on New Year's Da
