Aldi has announced when its stores in the North East will be open over Christmas and New Year. The confirmation comes as households across the UK make their festive preparations.
The supermarket says the following operating hours will apply to sites in Tyne and Wear, Northumberland and County Durham . Shoppers will be able to visit Aldi stores as usual to pick up everything they need for Christmas until Tuesday, December 23.
Then on Christmas Eve, stores will close at the earlier time of 6pm. They will remain closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day to give staff a well-deserved break. Earlier this month, it was revealed that Aldi was opening 16 new UK stores before Christmas, as reported by ChronicleLi
