On Friday afternoon, train services on the Western Railway’s Mumbai Central Division were partially disrupted after a fire broke out in shanties near the UP Harbour line between Mahim and Bandra. The fire started around 12:15 pm, prompting officials to cut the overhead electric supply as a safety measure.

Western Railway regulated train movements to ensure no service passed near the affected area. Officials confirmed that passengers and trains were safe, as services were held at a safe distance from the fire.
