Firefighters have been called to a chimney fire at the tea rooms of an historic hall in Derbyshire.

Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service (DFRS) received reports of the blaze at Melbourne Hall Tea Rooms at around 9am on Saturday, November 22.

A spokesperson for the café said the chimney fire had not affected the business, which remains open to customers.

Photos from the scene show several fire service vehicles at the scene, including a fire engine and an aerial ladder platform.

A DFRS spokesperson said no injuries were reported, adding: "We received reports of a chimney fire just after 9am.
