A woman has been left stunned after buying a £1.14 rug from a charity shop only to find out she could sell it for thousands of pounds. She revealed how she was browsing through a Goodwill store when she spotted a rug featuring vibrant hand-woven birds across its surface.
Upon closer examination, she realised it was a Navajo rug - a hand-crafted textile created by the Navajo people. Posting on Reddit, she wrote: "Navajo rug I found at goodwill I got it for a $1.49 other rugs by Sane Weaver are valued at a minimum of $2,500 Nizhoní Diyogi."
