ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Police are investigating a deadly crash involving a pedestrian on Saturday.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the crash happened around 4:30 a.m. Saturday, on Manchester Avenue near Tamm Avenue.

Police say a person is dead.

Police are asking the public to avoid the area as they investigate.
