OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A great weekend is in store for the metro which we deserve after several gloomy days! Lows will be in the 30s each morning but highs should jump into the 60s each afternoon.

While the Cornhuskers will see cooler temperatures at Penn State, both Iowa games look to be warmer and sunny.

More rain chances enter the picture Monday morning and last through the afternoon. The showers look to be scattered and light accumulating very little. The best chance will be during the morning hours. Temperatures will struggle to warm and should only hit the lower 50s under the Monday clouds.

Everything points to colder air moving in by the middle of next week with highs in the 30s at best over the entire holiday weekend.
