An "eerie" figure, spotted standing motionless at the roadside for hours on end, is leaving drivers "freaked out". The "creepy" sighting has been spotted in all weather conditions, both during the day and more frequently at night. The unsettling mystery has been playing out on the A497 in North Wales . The figure, which drivers have reported seeing even drenched from the rain, remains in the same spot for hours, leading to numerous reports from motorists.

A surge in sightings was reported after a video was shared on social media.
