MONTVILLE, Conn. (WFSB) - A crash involving a box truck that overturned in Montville caused traffic delays on early Saturday morning.

According to the Department of Transportation (DOT), they tell us it happened on I-395 right before Exit 6, just after 3 this morning.

So, if you’re heading toward Exit 6, expect delays this morning.

Eyewitness News crews at the scene of the crash and we can see a heavy presence of police, fire, and DOT crews still working.

After 3 this morning, DOT shut down Exits 2 through 6 on I-395 for cleanup.

Right now, police are directing drivers off Exit 6, but they are allowing drivers to get back on the highway using the same exit’s on-ramp.
