Nine 'sweet' puppies named after chocolate bars are up for adoption from the RSPCA. The pups were taken into the animal charity's care after their owner was unable to care for their mum.
The Staffordshire bull terrier cross pups , aged about six weeks, were taken in by RSPCA Felledge Animal Centre in Chester-Le-Street after mum Cocoa was too underweight to feed her large litter. This left the owner struggling, and she eventually handed them to the charity where they could be cared for.
The babies, now under the RSPCA's care, have been named after chocolate bars , inspired by their mother's confectionery name. They are called Rolo, Wispa, Freddo, Truffle, Caramac, Twix, Bounty, Smartie, and Buttons, and they are all do
