A charity has raged after a centuries-old wall was destroyed because social media 'vandals' didn't want to 'get their little tootsies wet' for a picture
"Entitled Instagram vandals" were slammed after a 500-year-old castle wall was pulled down so they could take a better picture.
Visitors at a historic Scottish castle were accused of "ripping down" part of the structure and leaving a pile of rocks from the wall scattered on the ground, according to Historic Assynt. The charity raged at the damage done at the centuries-old Ardvreck Castle , Lairg, in the Highlands . Officials said the tourists tore down part of the wall to avoid going over the wet sand on the beach , to not "get their little tootsies wet", just for a picture.
