FREETOWN, Mass. (WLNE) — The Lakeville Fire Department said that firefighters responded to a three car crash that occurred during a traffic back-up due to a deadly crash in Freetown.

The crash occurred at 8:15 p.m. on Route 140 South near County Street.

Three vehicles collided after drivers failed to stop for traffic.

Six people were transported to the hospital, two of which had serious injuries.
