MONTGOMERY - Hundreds of cars were on line Nov. 22 for the Regional Food Bank Hudson Valley's Thanksgiving dinner distribution at its warehouse in Montgomery.
And thousands more did the same at other Food Bank sites around the state.
The food distribution was scheduled to get underway in Montgomery at 10 a.m.
But John Lubbers, senior director of operations, said cars were already lined up from the Food Bank door, down the driveway and extending out onto state Route 416 by 9 a.m., so distribution started a little early.
They were expecting at least 600 cars to show up for a Thanksgiving dinner in Montgomery.
"This is a very exciting day for us," Lubbers said.
