Strictly Come Dancing's La Voix has been forced to quit the show after being injured.

Hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman confirmed she had withdrawn from the competition at the start of tonight's special live show, which is being aired from the Tower Ballroom in Blackpool.

La Voix was in the audience and looked gutted as the announcement was made.

Tess Daly confirmed: "As you may have heard La Voix sustained an injury meaning she can't dance in Blackpool tonight.

"And following further advice from our medical team we can now confirm she has very sadly had to withdraw from the competition."
