COLUMBUS, Ohio — A new holiday tradition is taking shape in Lewis Center, as Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana and the Building Industry Association’s Foundation Build Trades launch the first "A Home for the Holidays" raffle.
The fundraiser centers on a newly built home in the Evans Farm community, one of the region’s most walkable and in-demand neighborhoods. The custom property, valued at more than $850,000, was designed and constructed by 3 Pillar Homes specifically for the raffle.
Organizers say the event brings together families, builders and donors with one goal: helping grant wishes for children facing critical illnesses. Funds raised support both Make-A-Wish OKI and local workforce development efforts through the Foundation Build Trades program.
Leaders from both groups say
