One person had died and four others have been seriously injured following a horror house fire in Queensland.
Police have launched an investigation after emergency services were called to reports of a home on fire on Darcy Way at Lawnton in Moreton Bay about 5.30am on Sunday.
One person was declared dead at the scene, a Queensland Police Service spokesperson said.
Four residents were treated and rushed to hospital.
A crime scene was set up and investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing, police said.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said four patients who had suffered burns were taken to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in potentially life-threatening conditions.
