MADISON COUNTY, INDIANA, Ind. — Three firefighters are recovering after a rollover crash Saturday afternoon in Madison County.

According to a Facebook post from the Van Buren Township Fire Department , around 12:16 p.m. on Nov. 22, Tanker 60 was responding to a vehicle crash at the intersection of County Road 1400 North and State Road 37 . While turning onto southbound State Road 37 from County Road 1550 North, the tanker rolled over.

Officials say three firefighters were onboard the tanker at the time it rolled over. One firefighter was transported to Elwood Mercy Hospital while the other two were transported to Community Hospital Anderson.

All three firefighters were treated for minor injuries and later released.
