SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) -The 12th annual Hot Rod Holiday car show kicked off Saturday at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds, and it did not disappoint.

More than 150 cool cars were there. The event was also filled with food, brews, and festivities for everyone.

It also features a coloring contest for kids and even a chance to meet Santa.

“With the kind of cold and wet weather this weekend, it’s a great opportunity to bring the family out. It’s an inexpensive opportunity to spend the day in front of some really cool cars,“ said Larry Krauck, show producer.

You can still check out the event this Sunday. It’s $4 to get in, and kids 12 and under get in free.

Doors open at 11 a.m. and close at 5 p.m.
