Ocean State Job Lot opened its newest location Saturday morning in Mays Landing, marking the discount retailer’s 11th store in the state and its second in Atlantic County.
The 34,120-square-foot store at 4215 Black Horse Pike in the Hamilton Commons shopping center opened in space that previously housed a Big Lots.
Ocean State Job Lot executives joined Hamilton Township Deputy Mayor Carl Pitale for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The Mays Landing location is the 18th former Big Lots property that Ocean State Job Lot has converted in 2025 as part of its strategy to repurpose existing retail sites.
The Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation marked the opening by donating a pallet of toys and an assortment of adult bikes to Toys for Tots Atlantic County.
