A staple restaurant in Millvale announced it will be closing its doors after serving the community for 90 years.

In a Facebook post on Saturday, borough Mayor Brian Spoales said owners of The Grant Bar Inc. said the establishment will close this week.

"The Grant Bar has been far more than just a restaurant; it has been a true institution—a cornerstone of our community and a reliable gathering place across three generations of families," the post said. "For nearly a century, it has represented the very best of Millvale's spirit: warmth, unwavering hospitality, and a deep sense of connection."

Spoales said the restaurant's last day of operation will be Nov. 29.
