PHOENIX — Four people were shot, including two children, in south Phoenix on Saturday. A woman is in critical condition and a child is in extremely critical condition. Another child has non-life-threatening injuries. A man died at the scene, according to officials with the city's police department.
The shooting happened near 19th Avenue and Baseline Road at 2:45 p.m.
Police said some sort of dispute happened between two drivers, in the parking lot at Lowe's. Witnesses told police there was a fistfight when one driver pulled out a gun and started firing, striking the other driver, a woman and two children inside the vehicle, police said.
Another child in the vehicle was not hit, police said.
