Two American men plotted to invade a Caribbean island to take sex slaves and live out their violent ‘rape fantasies’, according to prosecutors.
Gavin Rivers Weisenburg, 21, and Tanner Christopher Thomas, 20, both from Texas are accused of planning to recruit an army of homeless people to storm Gonave Island off Haiti.
Their plot would see them ‘murder all of the men on the island so that they could then turn all of the women and children into their sex slaves’, an indictment read.
According to the document, Weisenburg and Thomas planned to buy a sailboat, guns and then recruit members of the District of Columbia-area homeless population to serve as a mercenary force.
