Gorka Marquez has been flooded with support as he revealed a 'pinch me moment' during his time away from Strictly Come Dancing.

The professional dancer has stepped back from competing in the hit dance contest this year, with the news coming months after it was confirmed he would be returning as a pro this year by the BBC.

At the time, he revealed that he wouldn't be getting a celebrity partner this year because he was heading back to a judging role on the Spanish version of Strictly , Bailando con las Estrellas, which is a position he first took on last year.
