A 27-story tower is under construction near Arizona State University in downtown Tempe, and it will become the city's second-tallest.

The tower is part of a mixed-use project, called Astria Tempe, that will have 380 residential units with 701 beds spread throughout floors eight through 26.

The complex will also feature 3,000 square feet of retail on the ground floor, as well as seven levels of parking.
