A British tourist was killed after an off-road tour truck crashed, hitting a tree. The 70-year-old tourist was rushed to hospital following the incident in Kentira, Morocco , on October 30, and spent a fortnight in critical care. But tragically, he died on November 13.
It is believed the vehicle's roof caved in when it struck a tree and crashed into large overhanging branches. The pensioner was reportedly on a £10,000 trip with Leeds-based holiday company Oasis Overland. The holiday package was a pan-African getaway, starting from Fes, in Morocco, and ending in Cape Town, South Africa. Lasting 23 weeks, it costs £10,000.
