FORT SMITH -- A 21-year-old man was arrested late Sunday in connection with aggravated robbery charges after an armed robbery was reported at the Subway at 4516 Rogers Ave.
Officers responded about 11 p.m. to the location for a report of an aggravated robbery, according to a news release from the Fort Smith Police Department.
A witness at the Subway there told police a white male in his 20s came into the restaurant, told her he had a loaded gun and to give him the money in the cash register, according to Aric Mitchell, public information officer for the Fort Smith Police Department.
When the witness did as the suspect asked, the man left, Mitchell said.
