Police are investigating a stabbing on Monday in Brockton, Massachusetts.

Brockton police said they responded to a report of a stabbing behind a business near Hereford and Pleasant streets shortly after noon Monday. They found a male vicim and he was taken by ambulance to an area hospital for emergency care.

No update on the man's condition was immediately available.

Police said the Plymouth District Attorney's Office is leading the investigation and any further details will be released by them.
