As patrons perused a menu of fine dining options at Food and Finance High School in Hell’s Kitchen on a recent visit, students were ready to prepare and serve the food.
“I'm working on appetizers,” junior Imani Sampson, 16, said. “My appetizer is crostini with — it’s a piece of bread that is, that has whipped feta on top of it, and then has pomegranate and poached pears. It also has hot honey and a small little salad in the middle with a citrus orange citrus dressing and a little bit of salt.”
