A new Duluth restaurant is bringing Hong Kong-style breakfast and lunch to the North Shore.

Chef Antony Gor's recently-opened Sol Hong Kong Café marks his first permanent restaurant, but his Cantonese-inspired dishes already have a devoted following thanks to the stylish Sol Supper Club pop-up events launched earlier this year.

While some of the pop-up events focused on an elevated tasting menu and paired cocktails, Sol Hong Kong Café is a laid back spot serving breakfast and lunch.

The Chinese breakfast staples on the menu include congee, which is served with deep-fried dough called youtiao.

The cafe is also serving dishes incorporating milk bread, such as Hong Kong-style French Toast served with a milk tea custard, and an egg sandwich, which features Spam and house-made mayonnaise.
