The former Goodwill storefront at 1306-1308 Ulster Ave. in Town of Ulster is being remodeled to make way for a new foodstuff store in an area full of them.
Originally envisioned as a supermarket, recent planning documents proposed a change of plan based on “concern of increased costs for equipment”. The pivot would see the half the space designed as a deli, with building owners seeking to sublet the other half.
At the time of writing, painting crews were festooning the side of the building with a large mural. There’s no word on an opening date yet. Tags: members
