A schoolboy has died after falling ill on a bus in Fife. The heartbreaking incident happened when the pupil from Beath High School was en route to nearby Fife College for a course yesterday afternoon (November 24).

The 15-year-old became unwell on the bus near Halbeath roundabout in Dunfermline at around 1.45pm. Despite an ambulance being called, the youngster was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Police Scotland are treating the death as 'unexplained' and have said investigations are ongoing. In a letter sent out to parents, the school described how the
