A man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after an alleged stabbing in Kirkcaldy. ‌

Emergency crews were called to St Clair Street in the town at around 8pm on Monday, November 24. ‌

A 39-year-old man was discovered with injuries and rushed to Victoria Hospital by ambulance . ‌

He was later transferred to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. His condition is unknown.

Police confirmed that a 27-year-old man has been arrested and said enquiries are ongoing.

Images taken at the scene show uniformed officers behind a cordon. It is understood the incident took place near a BP garage.
