KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -Rain will continue to spill in throughout the morning becoming widespread throughout the day. Strong storms with gusty winds will be possible.
RAIN/STORMS TUESDAY: Pockets of heavy rain and storms will move through in the morning. Although the activity becomes scattered during the afternoon, embedded storms will be possible. Any storm that does develop could briefly become severe with high wind gusts or pea size hail, but overall risk is marginal. Highs will reach the mid 60s. Winds will be southwest at 10-20 mph with gusts over 40 mph in the mountains.
WEDNESDAY: A few showers in the morning with a mostly cloudy sky. It will be breezy and cooler with highs in the 50s for most areas. Lows will drop to freezing or below in most areas Wednesday night.
