Weather Alert Day for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There are chances for rain, wintry mix and snow for that time period. The coldest air of the season arrives too.
Today will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy for much of the area, but North Central and Northeastern Nebraska look to be partly to mostly cloudy. There is also a small chance of isolated rain and snow showers in that part of the state. It is going to be windy today with northwest winds at 25 to 40 mph with gusts 40 to 60 mph. High Wind Warning in effect for much of Nebraska until 6pm today for gusts up to 60 mph. Wind Advisory in effect for part of Eastern Nebraska until 6pm
