The family of alleged murder victim Shaan Rasul have paid tribute to the 22-year-old with the 'biggest heart'.

Mohammed Shaan Ali Rasul, also known as Shaan, sadly died after an incident on Allerton Close in Hartlepool on Sunday (November 23) morning.

Twenty-two-year-old Callum Howe, from Hartlepool, has since been charged with Shaan's murder and is due to appear in court today (November 25).

Paying tribute to Shaan, his sister said: “Our beloved brother Shaan. We can’t imagine the pain you suffered and can’t believe you are no longer here.

“You had the biggest heart a man could ever have, but our hearts are broken and heavy. We will love you forever."
