A 15-year-old boy has died after becoming unwell on a school bus.
Emergency services were called to the scene but the schoolboy could not be saved and was pronounced dead.
Police have since launched an investigation into the teenager's death.
His death is being treated as unexplained, police confirmed.
Stephen Ross, headteacher at Beath High School, said support is being offered to staff and students following the pupil’s death.
