A teenage boy has suddenly died after becoming unwell on a school bus on Monday afternoon in Scotland.
Emergency services were called to the scene at the A92 Halbeath roundabout, Dunfermline, Fife, at 1.45 pm yesterday.
Police said the 15-year-old boy, a student at Beath High School, was pronounced dead at the scene.
He and other students had been travelling from Beath High School to Fife College during lunchtime.
Officers said the death is being treated as unexplained, and investigations are continuing, but the school told parents the situation ‘deteriorated rapidly’.
