WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI — Don’t underestimate Washtenaw County’s smaller cities. Four of them recently made a World Atlas list of “Michigan’s 9 Most Underrated Towns to Visit in 2025 ."

The educational geography website heralded Ypsilanti, Chelsea, Dexter and Manchester as towns with a lot to offer tourists and residents alike.

Ypsilanti is described as “progressive” and “quirky” in the report.
