BAY CITY, MI — Crews beginning next week will restrict nighttime traffic on Veterans Memorial Bridge in Bay City as part of a $1.6 million maintenance project there, Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) officials said.
Beginning Monday, Dec. 1, crews will maintain traffic at the bridge with single-lane closures in both directions from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily, MDOT officials said in a statement this week .
The work, which is scheduled to stretch into late March 2026, will include concrete deck patching and repairs, painting and mechanical work, MDOT officials said.
