As faith leaders in Central New York, we unite to support people who are poor, oppressed and vulnerable, people who are pushed to the margins of our society and who now face losses of great magnitude.
Our faith traditions affirm the dignity of all people, and we seek to build understanding by caring for children who have lost their parents, providing food for people who are hungry, defending those who suffer oppression, and offering shelter for people who have no place to rest. We echo this universal ethic of compassion in our call to seek human-centered solutions to the divisions among us and to care for each other.
