UPDATE: The Sheriff's Office says Drexill Heck has been located.

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. — The Upshur County Sheriff's Department is requesting the public's assistance in locating 14-year-old Drexill Lyrick Heck, who ran away from a residence on Old Elkins Road in Buckhannon, West Virginia, on Monday.

Heck was last seen at approximately 6 p.m. Monday. Authorities believe he may be traveling toward Elkins.

Sheriff Mike Coffman's department is asking anyone with information regarding the runaway teenager to contact the Upshur County Sheriff's Office at 304-472-1182. Information can also be provided through the nonemergency 911 number at 304-472-9550. The department is located at 38 W. Main St., Room 103, Buckhannon, WV 26201.
