COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Some rain and storms later Tuesday and Tuesday night. The colder weather really doesn’t move in until Wednesday night and Thursday.

ALERT DAY: With highs in the mid 70s to near 80 degrees, we’ll have to watch as some showers and storms move in. There is a risk for a few stronger to severe storms.

TIMING: The window opens for isolated severe weather in our northwestern communities like LaFayette, LaGrange and Auburn as early as midday or early afternoon. For most, it doesn’t start until at least late afternoon or this evening. It continues tonight but ends from northwest to southeast between Midnight and 4 AM ET Wednesday.
