Alaska State Troopers responded to a disturbance in Moose Pass on Thursday evening, November 20, after receiving a report of an active altercation inside a residence.
According to troopers, the call came in at approximately 7:00 p.m. When Seward-based AST officers arrived at the scene, they found the complainant involved in a physical struggle with the suspect, identified as Liam McFaul, inside a bedroom of the home.
Troopers took McFaul into custody for criminal mischief, but authorities say the incident escalated further after the arrest. While being transported in the back of a patrol vehicle, McFaul allegedly began injuring himself, resulting in a laceration to his forehead.
McFaul was transported and remanded to Spring Creek Correctional Center on charges of Fourth Degree assault,
