MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The Morgantown Fire Department has announced its 2025 Firefighter of the Year and Fire Officer of the Year, honoring two members whose leadership and service have made a lasting impact on the community. Firefighter First Class Chris DeBerry has been selected as Firefighter of the Year, while Lieutenant Ashley Jenkins has been recognized as Fire Officer of the Year.
