NORTH LIBERTY, Ind. (WNDU) - We’ve been following an effort in the area of Potato Creek Park to save a landmark barn on the property.
Community members told us the historic red barn was originally going to be preserved.
But it was later learned it would be demolished as construction for a $100 million lodge continues on the site.
16 News Now went to Potato Creek State Park.
What used to stand at Potato Creek State Park was a 117-year-old barn passed down through generations of the Naragon family. But as we can see, efforts to try and save the Red Barn were futile.
