NEW MADRID, Mo. (KFVS) - Crews are responding to a crash on Interstate 55 near New Madrid, Missouri.

According to Sgt. Clark Parrott with the Mo. State Highway Patrol, there is a two-vehicle crash involving commercial vehicles at the 47.4 mile marker.

The northbound lanes will be blocked until further notice.

Sgt. Parrott said traffic is being diverted at the northbound 44-mile marker.

Emergency responders are currently en route.
